Thrombolytic effect of Siddha herbal formulation Sikkanjar Manapagu using in-Silico model

Background: Thromboembolic disorders are one of the important causes leading to death. In Siddha system medicine, many drugs have been mentioned in literature and their thrombolytic potential needs be scientifically evaluated. Aim: The study aims perform Silico computational studies Phytoconstituents formulation Sikkanjar Manapagu (SM) evaluate its potential. Methods: Autodock program was used for molecular docking retrieved phytoconstituents such as Zingiberene, Gingerenone-A, 6 Gingerol Zingiber officinale, Menthol, Luteolin, Citronellol Mentha arvensis, Eugenol, Limonene, Myrcene, Linalool Citrus aurantium against target protein Human Plasminogen Activation Loop Peptide - PDB 4DCB. Results: A total ten compounds were screened, these Citronellol, showed high binding active amino acid residue 195. Conclusion: Based on further experiments clinical trials, could proved effective treatment.
